The Earthbuilders’ Guild is an organization dedicated to the Betterment & Advancement of Earthen Construction of homes and commercial buildings. We invite you to join us in this mission of preserving and promoting the age old building methods of adobe, rammed earth and compressed earth block construction. The commitment of people in this industry stretches across family traditions, meaningful work, environmental concerns, and joy of working with the earth. We want to insure that we continue to make history through our building process while improving them to create safe, comfortable, long lasting structures. Please join us in making that happen by becoming a member.

It is going to be in Albuquerque at 1:30 p.m. at the Central New Mexico Home Builders Association offices. 4100 Wolcott Ave NE # B, Albuquerque, NM 87109 (our usual location).

Our tour will begin with a visit to a custom adobe home under construction by contractor Win DeLapp. From there we move to an adobe on north Edith, being remodeled by Sean Kaltenbach and New Mexico Earth Works. The remodel has as its core an adobe home judged to be around 100 years old, with an earlier addition built from terrón.
We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at 1014 Ortega Rd NW, in Albuquerque, to start the tour.
